Together with Cyprus, they scale Electrochemical Direct Gradient Extraction (EDGE)—a versatile, land- and water-deployed process that DE-acidifies ocean water while extracting critical minerals and refining industrial, brine, and fossil fuel hydrocarbon waste streams into useful raw feed stocks.
Using these recovered materials, Tokio and Cyprus synthesize DEFIANT: a vitrified, Gadolinium-doped amorphous substrate that unifies solid-state power storage, zero-water phase cooling, and optical waveguides into a single Faraday-shielded chassis.
